PVW Partners uses FuseDocs to shape document workflows around the way the firm works
PVW Partners is one of North Queensland’s leading accounting and advisory firms, with offices across Innisfail, Cairns and Townsville. With more than 60 staff, eight partners, and clients across Australia and overseas, the team needs technology that can support consistent document workflows without adding friction for staff or clients.
That matters even more for a firm with a large regional and rural client base. For some clients, something as simple as printing, scanning or posting a document can become a real barrier. PVW needed tools that could help the team prepare and manage documents efficiently, while keeping the client experience simple.
A document workflow that fits the practice
PVW had been using FuseDocs since 2019 for document compilations, supported by integrations with its document management platforms. For Gloria Chippendale and the PVW team, the value of FuseDocs was not only in automation. It was in the way the FuseWorks team helped shape the solution around how the practice already worked.
As Gloria put it, FuseDocs “worked with our processes” rather than forcing the firm to reshape its workflows around the software.
That flexibility mattered. PVW was not looking for another rigid system for the team to manage. They needed a practical way to produce consistent client documents while working across APS, Virtual Cabinet and other core systems already embedded in the practice.
Extending the workflow into signatures
When BGL announced its CAS360 integration with FuseSign, PVW saw an opportunity to extend the same workflow thinking into documents that required signatures. The team had looked at other digital signature options, but found them complicated and too costly.
Because PVW already had a positive experience with FuseDocs and the FuseWorks team, trying FuseSign was a natural next step. Within less than an hour, the firm had FuseSign and CAS360 working together.
For clients, the change removed unnecessary steps. Instead of printing, signing, scanning or creating another login, clients could complete documents quickly from wherever they were. That included rural clients who might otherwise have had limited access to a printer, computer or nearby post office.
Less friction for clients, more confidence for the team
The result was a smoother document experience for both PVW and its clients. Staff could monitor documents more easily, clients adapted quickly, and the firm saw faster turnaround on documents requiring signatures.
For Gloria, the simplicity was the standout: “If every computer program were that easy, life would be amazing!”
PVW’s story shows the value of software that fits the way an accounting firm actually operates. FuseDocs gave the firm a flexible foundation for document compilation. FuseSign then helped extend that same practical approach into signatures, giving PVW a connected workflow that better supports its team and its regional, rural and remote clients.
